James Lee Jr. is a trial lawyer who concentrates his practice on products liability with an emphasis on pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices, mass tort litigation, personal injury and first-party insurance litigation. Over the last several years, he has represented and settled thousands of pharmaceutical drug and medical device claims on behalf of his clients. Erin Murphy, Partner
Prior to forming Lee Murphy Law Firm, Erin spent a number of years as an attorney with the law firm of Clark, Burnett, Love & Lee, G.P., in Houston, Texas. At CBLL, Erin managed the intake of the firm's nationwide pharmaceutical drug, medical device, mass tort and first-party insurance dockets. As a trial attorney, Erin has participated in the litigation and resolution of claims for thousands of plaintiffs in both state and federal courts and has considerable experience in the fields of consumer law, insurance law and complex commercial litigation.
Brittany Clark, Associate
Brittany graduated Cum Laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2009. Since that time, Brittany has represented clients in personal injury, insurance, family and probate litigation matters. Her experience also extends to representing clients with Hurricane Ike claims against their insurance companies for wrongfully denied insurance claims. Since joining Lee Murphy Law Firm, Brittany's focus has become working personally with clients and their claims relating to products liability, with an emphasis in pharmaceutical litigation.
Danae N. Benton, Associate
Danae graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2012, where she made the Dean's Honor List multiple times. Prior to joining Lee Murphy Law Firm in April 2012, Danae worked as a law clerk for Racusin & Wagner, L.L.P., where she gained experience in corporate and bankruptcy law, as well as working face-to-face with clients. Currently, Danae concentrates her practice on products liability with an emphasis in pharmaceutical drugs and devices, mass tort and personal injury litigation.
Douglas Grubbs, Associate
D. Douglas Grubbs has been involved in mass tort pharmaceutical litigation since early 2004 when he assisted with a national fen-phen docket consisting of more than 7,000 injured clients. Prior to joining Lee Murphy Law Firm in August 2012, Doug attended South Texas College of Law, where he made the Dean's Honor List multiple semesters. Upon graduating from law school in 2008, Doug accepted an associate position at a prominent East Texas law firm where he focused his practice on the firm's national pharmaceutical and medical device dockets. Doug's diverse experience in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation allows him to quickly determine the merits of a potentially successful claim.
